My fight

It’s getting to be a dirty fight now. I’m under investigation for my fitness as a mother. So I am now documenting everything from now on here. I don’t remember everything I have done and this is why I am going to start tracking it all. A deaf person should not have to go through all of this. This is audism at its worst.

Please get an advocate, lawyer, or someone who knows about investigations into parental fitness, to guide you through this investigation. No one should face this alone. For assistance or referral, contact http://www.lookingglass.org, organizations serving deaf or hard of hearing people in your state (Google your state name and the word deaf), http://www.deaf-hope.org, http://www.ascdeaf.com, http://www.deafdawn.org, your state’s bar association (Google your state name and the words “bar association”), your church, etc.

Please exercise caution about what you write, especially on the Internet. Anything you write can be used against you.

Wow, heartbreaking and very courageous of you to bare your soul to us.

May all will turn out well at the end for you. I also underwent the investigation from CPS a few months ago and luckily the case was closed, due to insufficient evidence but the experience was upsetting for my family. People from CPS were gracious though.
